Corrections log

ConductAtlas maintains a public record of corrections, revised interpretations, and updated classifications. Serious governance infrastructure evolves transparently.

This log documents substantive corrections to ConductAtlas analysis and classifications, and every change record we have withdrawn after publishing it, with the reason. A withdrawn record's page stays readable and links back here. Routine updates such as new document versions, updated summaries from source changes, and expanded regulation coverage are not listed here. Methodology

SummaryMeasured 9 October 2026
October 2026: 919 change records withdrawn as artifacts of a superseded text extractor
On 8 and 9 October 2026 we withdrew 919 change records that had been first published between 18 April and 7 October 2026. They had been public for a median of 108 days (between 1 and 174).
Each recorded a difference between two captures of a page that lay in page furniture, not in the document: navigation menus, footers, page titles, language pickers, related-article lists, embedded page data, live counters and clocks. Our text extractor stopped reading these in two steps: navigation and footer stripping, deployed 10 September 2026 (890 of the 919 were first published before it), and extractor version 5, deployed 7 October 2026. Version 5 also drops page titles, video fallback text, menus built as select lists, link labels, loading placeholders and related-post lists, and folds invisible characters and typographic quotes. Re-extracted with version 5, the two captures behind each record contain the same text.
Each record has its own entry in this log, quoting what it described. Its page stays readable as a withdrawn record.

Cash App: change record CA-X-002764 recorded a difference our own extractor made
This record described a change to Cash App Terms of Service observed on Jun 9, 2026. What differed between the two captures it compared: “…ols Contributors (No Account) Legal Licenses Security Press…” became “…ols Contributors (No Account) Cash App Mobile Terms of Service Legal Licenses Security Press…”. That passage is page furniture, not part of the document, and the archive's current text extractor (version 5, deployed Oct 7, 2026) no longer reads it: re-extracted, the two captures contain the same text, so this record would not have been created. It is withdrawn as an artifact of how we read the page, not as a finding about Cash App's document. Measured Oct 9, 2026.
As published (withdrawn)
Cash App added a reference to 'Cash App Mobile Terms of Service' in their linked terms documentation on June 9, 2026. This document was previously not listed in the terms index but is now explicitly referenced as an accompanying legal document. The operational effect is that users are now directed to consult this mobile-specific terms document alongside the main Cash App Terms of Service.

Ford updated its privacy policy effective January 16, 2026, with 8 sentence-level modifications across multiple sections. The primary changes involve clarifications to connected vehicle data sharing icons and descriptions, updates to contact information formatting, and adjustments to how material policy changes will be communicated to users. The revised language no longer specifies that advance notice will be provided before material changes, instead stating only that notice or consent will be obtained 'as may be required by law.'

OpenAI removed language identifying this as a US-specific privacy policy and collapsed a multilingual language selector into an ellipsis (…) in the document header on June 8, 2026. Previously, the policy explicitly stated 'US privacy policy' and displayed a full list of 70+ language options. The updated version removes the explicit US designation and abbreviates the language selector, which may affect how users identify the applicable jurisdiction for this policy and how they access translations.

This record described a change to OpenSea Privacy Policy observed on Jun 5, 2026. What differed between the two captures it compared: “…of Service Privacy Policy $1,770.86 Support Collector Pro Crypto…” became “…of Service Privacy Policy $1,764.96 Support Collector Pro Crypto…”. That passage is page furniture, not part of the document, and the archive's current text extractor (version 5, deployed Oct 7, 2026) no longer reads it: re-extracted, the two captures contain the same text, so this record would not have been created. It is withdrawn as an artifact of how we read the page, not as a finding about OpenSea's document. Measured Oct 9, 2026.
As published (withdrawn)
OpenSea's Privacy Policy was updated on June 5, 2026, with one sentence modified. The specific operational change involves a numerical value in the document's header changing from $1,770.86 to $1,764.96. This appears to be a pricing or display element rather than a substantive policy modification, and the change does not affect the privacy protections, data practices, or user rights described in the policy itself.
