Corrections log
ConductAtlas maintains a public record of corrections, revised interpretations, and updated classifications. Serious governance infrastructure evolves transparently.
This log documents substantive corrections to ConductAtlas analysis and classifications, and every change record we have withdrawn after publishing it, with the reason. A withdrawn record's page stays readable and links back here. Routine updates such as new document versions, updated summaries from source changes, and expanded regulation coverage are not listed here. Methodology

October 2026: 919 change records withdrawn as artifacts of a superseded text extractor
On 8 and 9 October 2026 we withdrew 919 change records that had been first published between 18 April and 7 October 2026. They had been public for a median of 108 days (between 1 and 174).
Each recorded a difference between two captures of a page that lay in page furniture, not in the document: navigation menus, footers, page titles, language pickers, related-article lists, embedded page data, live counters and clocks. Our text extractor stopped reading these in two steps: navigation and footer stripping, deployed 10 September 2026 (890 of the 919 were first published before it), and extractor version 5, deployed 7 October 2026. Version 5 also drops page titles, video fallback text, menus built as select lists, link labels, loading placeholders and related-post lists, and folds invisible characters and typographic quotes. Re-extracted with version 5, the two captures behind each record contain the same text.
Each record has its own entry in this log, quoting what it described. Its page stays readable as a withdrawn record.

Replit: change record CA-X-002676 recorded a difference our own extractor made
This record described a change to Replit Privacy Policy observed on Jun 4, 2026. What differed between the two captures it compared: “CA 1 : 37 PM Made in sunny California.” became “CA 3 : 21 AM Made in sunny California.”. That passage is page furniture, not part of the document, and the archive's current text extractor (version 5, deployed Oct 7, 2026) no longer reads it: re-extracted, the two captures contain the same text, so this record would not have been created. It is withdrawn as an artifact of how we read the page, not as a finding about Replit's document. Measured Oct 9, 2026.
As published (withdrawn)
Replit's privacy policy was updated on June 4, 2026, with one sentence modified. The change involved a timestamp reference within the document, altering text from 'CA 1 : 37 PM' to 'CA 3 : 21 AM' in a sentence reading 'Made in sunny California.' This appears to be a minor editorial update with no material operational change to Replit's stated privacy practices, data handling, or user rights.

Snowflake: change record CA-X-002546 recorded a difference our own extractor made
This record described a change to Snowflake Privacy Notice observed on Jun 1, 2026. What differed between the two captures it compared: “…añol Deutsch Français English Sign in CONTACT SALES start fo…” became “…añol Deutsch Français English 中文(简体) Sign in CONTACT SALES start fo…”. That passage is page furniture, not part of the document, and the archive's current text extractor (version 5, deployed Oct 7, 2026) no longer reads it: re-extracted, the two captures contain the same text, so this record would not have been created. It is withdrawn as an artifact of how we read the page, not as a finding about Snowflake's document. Measured Oct 9, 2026.

Snowflake updated the language selection menu on its Privacy Notice webpage to include Simplified Chinese (中文(简体)) as a language option. Previously, the language selector included Português, Italiano, Korean, Japanese, Spanish, German, and French, but not Simplified Chinese. The addition allows Simplified Chinese-speaking users to access the privacy notice in their language.

Snowflake added Simplified Chinese (中文(简体)) to the language options available in their Terms of Service interface on June 1, 2026. The substantive terms and conditions remain unchanged; only the language selection menu was expanded. This enables users in mainland China and other Simplified Chinese-speaking regions to access the terms in their native language.
