This page describes what the document states, permits, or reserves. It does not constitute a legal determination about enforceability. Regulatory applicability may vary by jurisdiction. Methodology
OnlyFans sets the rules for using the platform: you must be at least 18, OnlyFans takes 20% of every payment made to you, and your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel. OnlyFans can close your account for any reason with 30 days' notice, and if you sue OnlyFans it may terminate your account. As a creator, you are personally responsible for everything you post, and you must clearly label any paid advertising content with tags like #ad and the brand name.
This document establishes the binding contractual relationship between OnlyFans and its users, setting out substantive obligations, rights, and limitations governing platform use. OnlyFans may suspend or delete any account for any reason with 30 days' notice, and separately reserves the right to terminate accounts upon a user's commencement of legal proceedings against OnlyFans or its subsidiaries. Creators are required to grant OnlyFans a broad license over all uploaded content — encompassing reproduction, public display, distribution, and creation of derivative works — and bear sole legal responsibility for that content regardless of third-party assistance in account operation. OnlyFans deducts a 20% fee from every fan payment, caps its total liability to business users at the greater of fees paid or USD $5,000, and asserts sole ownership of all anonymised usage data with permission to use it for any lawful purpose.
Users must be at least 18 years old to hold an account. Subscriptions renew automatically at the current rate, with advance authorisation for recurring charges given upon agreeing to the Terms. OnlyFans can close any account for any reason with 30 days' notice, and may terminate an account if the user initiates legal proceedings against OnlyFans or its subsidiaries. Creators receive 80% of each fan payment after OnlyFans deducts its 20% fee, are solely liable for all content they upload, and must indemnify OnlyFans for any loss arising from an untrue warranty. Users agree not to make unjustified refund or chargeback requests, though legitimate dispute claims remain available. OnlyFans owns all anonymised usage data and may use it for any lawful purpose. If you are a creator running paid promotions, you are required to label that content with a signifier such as #ad and the brand name in the caption.
