Corrections log

ConductAtlas maintains a public record of corrections, revised interpretations, and updated classifications. Serious governance infrastructure evolves transparently.

This log documents substantive corrections to ConductAtlas analysis and classifications, and every change record we have withdrawn after publishing it, with the reason. A withdrawn record's page stays readable and links back here. Routine updates such as new document versions, updated summaries from source changes, and expanded regulation coverage are not listed here. Methodology

SummaryMeasured 9 October 2026
October 2026: 919 change records withdrawn as artifacts of a superseded text extractor
On 8 and 9 October 2026 we withdrew 919 change records that had been first published between 18 April and 7 October 2026. They had been public for a median of 108 days (between 1 and 174).
Each recorded a difference between two captures of a page that lay in page furniture, not in the document: navigation menus, footers, page titles, language pickers, related-article lists, embedded page data, live counters and clocks. Our text extractor stopped reading these in two steps: navigation and footer stripping, deployed 10 September 2026 (890 of the 919 were first published before it), and extractor version 5, deployed 7 October 2026. Version 5 also drops page titles, video fallback text, menus built as select lists, link labels, loading placeholders and related-post lists, and folds invisible characters and typographic quotes. Re-extracted with version 5, the two captures behind each record contain the same text.
Each record has its own entry in this log, quoting what it described. Its page stays readable as a withdrawn record.

TaskRabbit: change record CA-X-001147 recorded a difference our own extractor made
This record described a change to TaskRabbit Terms of Service observed on Mar 23, 2026. What differed between the two captures it compared: “Yes No 8666 out of 10699 found this helpful Have more…” became “Yes No 8709 out of 10748 found this helpful Have more…”. That passage is page furniture, not part of the document, and the archive's current text extractor (version 5, deployed Oct 7, 2026) no longer reads it: re-extracted, the two captures contain the same text, so this record would not have been created. It is withdrawn as an artifact of how we read the page, not as a finding about TaskRabbit's document. Measured Oct 9, 2026.
As published (withdrawn)
TaskRabbit updated a helpfulness counter in their Terms of Service on March 23, 2026. The counter changed from "8666 out of 10699 found this helpful" to "8709 out of 10748 found this helpful," reflecting user feedback on the terms document. This is a routine update to a usage metric and does not change any actual contract terms or consumer rights.

The footer of Uber's Privacy Notice was updated on March 23, 2026 to reflect changes in geographic scope and product offerings. Specifically, the document removed reference to 'Drive' as a product and replaced 'Bhopal' with 'Inland Empire' in the geographic scope footer. This appears to be a formatting and geographic scope adjustment rather than a substantive change to privacy rights or data handling practices.

Uber updated its privacy notice on March 16, 2026 by removing several navigation links from the header and footer sections of the document. The removed links included references to 'About us', 'Our offerings', 'How Uber works', 'Sustainability', 'Business', 'Ride', 'Drive', 'Deliver', 'Uber One', 'Gift cards', and 'Safety' from various parts of the page structure. This change is organizational and does not alter the substantive terms of the privacy notice or the data practices it describes.

Cash App: change record CA-X-001451 withheld pending review
This record about Cash App Terms of Service compared the capture of Apr 28, 2026 with one made on Mar 25, 2026, which was not the capture immediately before it; a capture made on Apr 22, 2026 came in between. The link was written on May 11, 2026 by an unrecorded one-off, not by the archive's capture code. The record now compares the right pair, but its summary was written for the old comparison. Its summary fits both comparisons about equally, so it is withheld until it is read by hand, not judged wrong. Measured Oct 9, 2026.

Cash App modified its fee waiver structure on April 28, 2026. Previously, spending $500+ monthly or receiving $300+ in deposits waived the Foreign Transaction Fee entirely. The updated terms now waive this fee only for card-present (in-person) transactions. Additionally, the Foreign Transaction Fee itself increased from 3% to 3.25%, and the terms reorganized fee waiver eligibility to now include ATM Withdrawals (in-network only) and Paper Money Deposits alongside the limited Foreign Transaction Fee waiver.

Minecraft revised a sentence in their End User License Agreement on April 25, 2026, changing 'To learn more about our moderation policies' to 'Learn more about our moderation policies'. This is a grammatical simplification removing the infinitive phrase structure. The operational content and meaning of the sentence remain unchanged, with no difference in what users can do regarding moderation policies, reporting, or appeals.
