“AI providers in connection with providing you Vercel's AI Products and Services.”
This document explains what information Vercel AI collects when you use its AI features—such as your prompts, uploaded images, and generated content—and how that information is used, shared, and retained. Vercel AI may share your data with third-party AI providers to run its services, and may share de-identified data with AI business partners for their product development unless you change your team settings. You can opt out of Model Training through your Team Preferences, and US users have the right to opt out of the sale of their personal information.
This privacy policy establishes Vercel AI's practices for collecting, using, retaining, and sharing personal information in connection with its AI Products and Services. Vercel AI collects user-generated content—including chat prompts, uploaded images, and generated outputs—and processes this information for service delivery, product development, and AI model development based on legitimate interests, subject to user opt-out rights exercisable through Team Preferences. User information is disclosed to third-party AI providers to deliver core services, and de-identified AI data may be shared with AI business partners for their own product development, subject to Hobby and Pro plan team settings preferences. Retention is bounded by a minimum necessary standard applied across legal, contractual, dispute resolution, and legitimate business purposes. Customers bear sole responsibility for ensuring end-user legal compliance, including required privacy notices, with respect to their own End Users.
When you use Vercel AI's AI features, the content you generate—including prompts, uploaded images, and design or text outputs—is collected and may be used for AI model development and shared with third-party AI providers and, in de-identified form, with AI business partners. Vercel AI personnel are prohibited from viewing your Customer Content except in limited defined circumstances. Your information may also be used alongside cookies and tracking technologies to support targeted advertising through third parties. If you are on a Hobby or Pro plan, you can limit de-identified data sharing with AI business partners by adjusting your team settings preferences, and you can opt out of Model Training through your Team Preferences.
