How other platforms handle this
In the event an Item does not pass the Item Verification, Whatnot shall notify the Buyer and the Seller of Whatnot's conclusion, which results in an automatic cancellation of the Transaction and a refund to the Buyer's Payment Method.
It is not possible to get a "partial refund" or credit if a user wishes to cancel their recurring subscription early – it will remain valid until the end of its purchased duration.
If your reservation via the App is rejected after your request, you'll receive the applicable refund assuming your payment method was actually charged.
