Corrections log
ConductAtlas maintains a public record of corrections, revised interpretations, and updated classifications. Serious governance infrastructure evolves transparently.
This log documents substantive corrections to ConductAtlas analysis and classifications, and every change record we have withdrawn after publishing it, with the reason. A withdrawn record's page stays readable and links back here. Routine updates such as new document versions, updated summaries from source changes, and expanded regulation coverage are not listed here. Methodology

October 2026: 919 change records withdrawn as artifacts of a superseded text extractor
On 8 and 9 October 2026 we withdrew 919 change records that had been first published between 18 April and 7 October 2026. They had been public for a median of 108 days (between 1 and 174).
Each recorded a difference between two captures of a page that lay in page furniture, not in the document: navigation menus, footers, page titles, language pickers, related-article lists, embedded page data, live counters and clocks. Our text extractor stopped reading these in two steps: navigation and footer stripping, deployed 10 September 2026 (890 of the 919 were first published before it), and extractor version 5, deployed 7 October 2026. Version 5 also drops page titles, video fallback text, menus built as select lists, link labels, loading placeholders and related-post lists, and folds invisible characters and typographic quotes. Re-extracted with version 5, the two captures behind each record contain the same text.
Each record has its own entry in this log, quoting what it described. Its page stays readable as a withdrawn record.

Plaid: change record CA-X-001091 described a comparison it no longer makes
This record about Plaid End User Privacy Policy compared the capture of Apr 19, 2026 with one made on Apr 3, 2026, which was not the capture immediately before it; a capture made on Apr 16, 2026 came in between. The link was written on May 11, 2026 by an unrecorded one-off, not by the archive's capture code. The record now compares the right pair, but its summary was written for the old comparison. It will be restored once a summary is written for the corrected comparison and read by hand. Measured Oct 9, 2026.
As published (withdrawn)
Plaid restructured its account terms to clarify the role of the Plaid Account and introduced a new Plaid Monitoring Service. The updated language shifts focus from helping you connect to third-party apps more quickly to emphasizing Plaid's direct provision of streamlined services and account monitoring. The terms now explicitly state that a Plaid Account enables Plaid to share information that third-party apps need to initiate payments to or from you, expanding the stated functional scope of the account beyond connection management.

Klarna reorganized the table of contents and navigation structure of its Terms of Service on April 19, 2026. The updated document removed several product-specific links and agreements from the main navigation menu (including Pay later, Klarna Credit Card, Money Transmissions, and specific financing examples) and streamlined the list of referenced policies. The first change revised the opening tagline from 'Build your business with trustworthy AI' to 'Accelerate business growth with trustworthy AI' and expanded the supporting description from a single sentence about safe practices to a more detailed statement about accelerating adoption and reducing risk. The second change replaced a reference to 'Get the e-book' with 'Watch the webinar' in a resources section. The third change rephrased guidance about Copilot security from 'When you're using Copilots at work' to 'When using Copilot at work,' a minor grammatical adjustment. These are primarily marketing and messaging updates with no material change to underlying responsible AI commitments or consumer obligations.

Microsoft modified its data retention policy language on April 19, 2026. Previously, the policy described specific retention criteria including whether customers expected data to be retained until they removed it, and whether automated deletion controls existed. The updated language simplifies retention guidance by stating that Microsoft retains personal data to provide services, fulfill transactions, and for legitimate purposes including legal obligations, business operations, and dispute resolution. The revised policy removes granular examples (like email deletion procedures) and instead directs users to product documentation, while adding new retention justifications around improving products, protecting systems, and customer safety.
