This document sets the rules for using SoFi's website, app, and services. SoFi can change these rules at any time without telling you directly, can cut off your access if it believes your use is harmful to its reputation, and takes no responsibility for any damages you suffer from using its site—including unauthorized access to your account. You also agree to let SoFi contact you via automated or pre-recorded calls and messages.
This Terms of Use Agreement establishes SoFi's conditions for accessing the SoFi Site, SoFi App, and associated products and services. It imposes a five-year per-deposit holding period as a material condition for the invest match, sets a one-year contractual limitation period for all claims arising from site or app use, and requires a $10 monthly fee for SoFi Plus membership. SoFi disclaims all liability—including direct, indirect, special, incidental, and consequential damages—for harms arising from site use and for unauthorized account access, while requiring users to indemnify SoFi and its affiliates against claims arising from their own use. SoFi retains broad discretion to suspend, cancel, or terminate access based on its own belief that use is unauthorized, improper, illegal, or harmful to its reputation, and may modify the Terms at any time by posting an updated version without notifying users.
Users are bound by a one-year window to file any claim against SoFi relating to the site, app, or Terms of Use—after which the claim is permanently barred. Rewards points carry no cash value and are not the user's property. To receive the invest match, each individual deposit must remain in the taxable account for five full years from its own settlement date. SoFi Coach may not be relied upon for financial, legal, investment, or tax advice, and users are responsible for verifying any information it provides. Users bear the cost of defending SoFi and its affiliates against any claim arising from their own use of the site or app. Users who wish to understand how their information is collected, used, and shared should review SoFi's Online Privacy Policy and GLBA Privacy Notice, as those external documents govern the scope of those practices.
