Runway's Terms of Service set out the rules for using its AI services: your submitted and generated content can be used by Runway to train its AI models, all fees are non-refundable including for cancelled subscriptions, and disputes with Runway must go through binding arbitration rather than court. You have 30 days from first accepting the terms to opt out of the arbitration requirement by sending written notice to Runway.
Runway's Terms of Service establish the binding conditions under which users access its AI-powered Services, imposing a comprehensive arbitration regime that requires individual binding arbitration, waives constitutional and statutory rights to jury trial, and includes a class-action waiver, with a 30-day opt-out window. Runway grants itself an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license over user Inputs and Outputs, and users must acknowledge that such content may be used to train and improve Runway's AI models and related products. The agreement limits Runway's liability by excluding loss of profits, revenue, data, and indirect or consequential damages, while requiring users to indemnify Company Parties for losses, costs, and attorneys' fees arising from their content, applications, or Agreement violations. Runway retains authority to terminate or suspend user access for any or no reason, charges non-refundable subscription fees that renew automatically at the then-current rate, and prohibits users from using the Services or Outputs to develop competing or similar products.
As a user, your Inputs and Outputs may be used by Runway to train its AI models and improve its products. Subscription fees are non-refundable and renew automatically at the then-current rate, so cancelling mid-period forfeits remaining paid time. Any dispute with Runway must be resolved through individual binding arbitration, not in court, and you cannot join a class action — but you can preserve your right to go to court by sending Runway written notice to opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first becoming subject to the Arbitration Agreement.
