The updated terms restrict payment methods for high-volume customers: once monthly fees exceed $8,000 (or local currency equivalent), credit card payments are no longer accepted, and all future payments must be made via ACH transfer, wire transfer, or other acceptable bank transfer method. This applies to all fees going forward once the threshold is crossed in any single month. Additionally, Twilio removed its prior commitment that service functionality will not materially decrease; the revised language now states only that services 'may change over time' without specifying limits on how much functionality may be reduced. For customers in Mexico and Brazil, Twilio has established separate regional entities as the contracting party, which may affect dispute resolution and liability frameworks.

Customer will not access or use any Service, Documentation, or Customization in sanctioned or embargoed regions or for any prohibited end uses, including but not limited to nuclear, chemical, or biological weapons
Customer agrees not to export, reexport, or transfer, directly or indirectly, any U.S. technical data acquired from Baseten, or any products utilizing such data, in violation of the United States export laws or regulations.
If Customer learns of a potential violation of trade laws relating to the performance of this Agreement, or a potential violation of the terms in this subsection, it will alert PlanetScale as soon as possible, but in no event more than fourteen (14) days after acquiring this knowledge.
