ZipRecruiter's terms bind U.S., Canadian, Australian, and other non-EEA job seekers and employers to mandatory individual arbitration and a class action waiver, meaning disputes with the platform must generally be resolved privately rather than through courts or collective legal action. The agreement also grants ZipRecruiter a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use any content you submit, including your resume, which persists even after you stop using the service. You can opt out of the mandatory arbitration provision by following the procedure described in Section 15 of the terms, typically within 30 days of first agreeing.
