Users who purchase Desktop add-ons have no refund option, regardless of satisfaction or other circumstances, creating a permanent financial commitment at the point of purchase.
The reader cannot obtain a refund for any Desktop add-on products or services purchased.
How other platforms handle this
Once you redeem your Points, you cannot cancel or return the Redemption Option for a refund of Points except in the case of defective products or as required by applicable law.
For textile products, we do not accept returns of products that have already been worn (except for a short time to check the size/fit) or products that have been washed.
No refunds of fees already paid will be given. Clients may opt out of the Direct Contract program or cancel a Service Contract...however Upwork will not refund any fees for Service Contracts that were considered active at any time in the month prior to the charge.
