Why it matters (compliance & governance perspective)

This provision establishes asymmetric financial consequences depending on which party initiates termination for cause, and allows Synthesia to terminate immediately without a cure period if it reasonably believes the Services are being used in violation of applicable law. Customer remains responsible for Authorized User breaches, meaning a single user's violation can trigger contract termination.

Consumer impact (what this means for users)

If Customer terminates for cause, Synthesia refunds prepaid fees for the remaining term. Synthesia may terminate immediately without a cure period if it reasonably believes applicable law is being violated.
