If someone posts your copyrighted content on Paramount+'s platform, you can file a formal takedown notice, and Paramount+ is legally required to remove it under US copyright law.
Content creators whose work appears on Paramount+ without permission can use the DMCA takedown process to have it removed; conversely, users whose content is wrongly removed can file a counter-notice to have it restored, and false takedown notices expose the filer to perjury liability.

REGULATORY FRAMEWORK: This provision implements the DMCA safe harbor provisions (17 U.S.C. §512) which protect online service providers from secondary copyright liability provided they comply with notice-and-takedown requirements. Paramount must have a designated Copyright Agent registered with the U.S. Copyright Office (17 U.S.C. §512(c)(2)) to maintain safe harbor eligibility. The Copyright Office's DMCA agent registry (copyright.gov/dmca-directory) must reflect a current agent. FTC Act Section 5 applies if DMCA procedures are used anti-competitively or abusively.
