Suno Terms of Service

This document governs all access to and use of Suno Inc.'s AI music generation platform, including its website, mobile applications, Discord integrations, and ancillary features such as Suno Chat and Voice Model, on the basis of user acceptance upon accessing the Service. The agreement asserts broad rights over user-submitted content ("Submissions"), stating that users grant Suno a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such Submissions, and further requires users to warrant that no third-party payments or permissions are required for Suno's use of Submissions to train AI models. The terms include a mandatory arbitration clause with class action waiver, require users to indemnify Suno against third-party claims arising from their Submissions or use of the Service, and assert that Suno may modify or discontinue the Service at any time without liability, though a pro-rata refund is offered if the Service is fully discontinued. The document engages COPPA and related age-verification frameworks through its 13-and-over minimum age requirement and parental consent provisions for users under 18, as well as the FTC Act's consumer protection standards given broad warranty disclaimers and limitation-of-liability clauses; GDPR and CCPA applicability depends on user jurisdiction and is addressed by reference to a separate Privacy Policy rather than within these Terms. The mandatory arbitration provision with class action waiver and the AI training license over user Submissions represent the most material compliance considerations for institutional review teams, particularly given evolving regulatory scrutiny of AI training data practices and the enforceability of class action waivers in certain jurisdictions.
