StockX's terms bind all buyers and sellers to mandatory individual arbitration, meaning that if something goes wrong with a transaction, authentication dispute, or account action, users generally cannot sue in court or participate in a class action lawsuit. The terms also grant StockX authority to suspend or terminate accounts and withhold pending funds during investigations, which creates financial exposure for active sellers. You can opt out of the arbitration clause by sending a written notice to StockX within 30 days of first agreeing to the terms, typically via the contact method specified in the arbitration section of the agreement.
