The scope of AI processing applied to sales email content without a separately stated consent mechanism may require evaluation under GDPR lawful basis requirements and applicable electronic communications laws depending on jurisdiction.

Interpretive note: The lawful basis for AI analysis of chatbot and sales email content is not explicitly stated in the document; applicability of consent requirements varies by jurisdiction and communication channel.

High May 5, 2026

The updated policy removes explicit language describing how OneLogin uses AI to analyze customer communications. Previously, the policy stated that call audio and video would be recorded with consent and analyzed using AI to identify follow-up tasks, summarize calls, and conduct sales analytics; that chatbot conversations would be analyzed and saved; and that sales emails would be analyzed to determine communication efficacy and forecast next steps. These specific AI analysis practices are no longer described in the updated policy. The revised language also narrows one stated data use purpose, changing 'answers or services you have asked or licensed' to 'services you have purchased.' No consumer opt-out mechanisms or alternative disclosures are provided in the change text.

When we call you, we may, with your consent, record the audio and video, to optimize our interactions with you, to improve our processes, and to identify coaching recommendations to our staff. We will use the data to track your plans to use our software, your suggestions for our software, and any other questions or requests you mention. We use AI to analyze the transcript of a call to identify follow up tasks we promised to you, to summarize the call, and for sales analytics. Similarly, when you ask questions via our chatbot, we will use AI to analyze it and either answer your question or connect you with the right department to respond. We will save the conversation, so that our future interactions best address the needs you have communicated to us. When you email our sales team, we will use AI to analyze the messages to determine the efficacy of the communication, to optimize future messages, to schedule future calls, and to forecast next steps.
