The updated Terms of Service no longer explicitly state that users must be at least 18 years old to book a reservation or host a place on Airbnb. Previously, this age requirement was stated as a binding community policy. The removal of this language creates operational uncertainty about Airbnb's age eligibility requirements and enforcement. While Airbnb's actual booking and hosting practices may not have changed, users can no longer point to an explicit contractual age restriction in the published terms.

Because our Services may be utilized without a subscription, canceling your subscription does not remove your profile from our Services. If you wish to fully terminate your account, you must terminate your account as set forth in Section 9.
Inactivity does not constitute automatic cancellation, so unless you cancel your account in accordance with this section, you will continue to be charged for subscription to the Services.
Your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current Subscription Period, and your Subscription will not be renewed.
