The updated terms establish mandatory age verification as a condition of account creation and authorize Snapchat to lock or delete accounts if users do not meet applicable age requirements in their jurisdiction. The revised content moderation language expands Snapchat's authority to review, moderate, or remove content in its sole discretion and explicitly states the company will not be liable for these actions. An appeals process is introduced, but decisions remain subject to Snapchat's sole discretion. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the disclaimers, limitations on liability, termination and your warranties and indemnities shall survive any termination of these Terms and Conditions.
Upon termination or expiration of this Agreement, any provision which, by its nature or express terms should survive, including but not limited to any obligations in relation to the liability of, or indemnities (if any) given by, the respective parties, will survive such termination or expiration.
