Users who cancel a subscription mid-period forfeit the remaining value of any payment already made for that billing period.
Interpretive note: The excerpt contains two independent propositions: no refund for the current billing period, and continued access for the remainder of that period. The primary proposition stated is the no-refund rule; continued access is recorded in omitted_material.
If a subscription is cancelled, you will not receive a refund for the current billing period.
How other platforms handle this
It is not possible to get a "partial refund" or credit if a user wishes to cancel their recurring subscription early – it will remain valid until the end of its purchased duration.
If you request and obtain a refund, your subscription to the Services will be terminated as soon as the refund is initiated.
The cancellation will take effect at the end of the billing period. You can see when your subscription will end on the "Account" page.
