Why it matters (compliance & governance perspective)

This clause establishes Google's authority to alter contractual obligations and cost structure during the service relationship. The 30-day notice mechanism creates a defined period for users to review changes before they take effect, though certain categories of modifications bypass this waiting period.

Consumer impact (what this means for users)

Users' contractual terms and pricing are subject to modification by Google following the procedures stated in the clause. Continued use of the service after the effective date means the modified terms apply as written, including any changes to pricing or service conditions.
