Anthropic's terms allow your Claude.ai conversations to be used for AI model training by default, with an account-settings opt-out that does not cover feedback interactions or safety-flagged content. US users are subject to mandatory individual arbitration and a class action waiver, which limits the ability to pursue group legal claims against Anthropic. You can opt out of model training in your Claude.ai account settings, and US users can opt out of arbitration within 30 days of account creation by emailing legal-optout@anthropic.com.
