(1) REGULATORY FRAMEWORK: Warranty disclaimers are governed by UCC Article 2 (for goods) and common law (for services) in the U.S. EU consumer law (Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU) and UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 provide statutory guarantees that cannot be disclaimed for consumer contracts.
