Xfinity's Privacy Policy authorizes collection of an unusually broad range of personal data, including precise geolocation, cable and streaming viewing history, internet browsing activity, voice commands, biometric identifiers, and home security sensor data, and permits use of this information for targeted advertising both on and off Xfinity platforms. The policy also permits sharing of personal information with Comcast-affiliated companies such as NBCUniversal and Sky, with third-party advertising and analytics partners, and with business clients, which may not be intuitive given the primary service relationship.
