Runway Privacy Policy

This document explains what personal information Runway collects—including sensitive biometric data like your voice and face scans—how it uses and shares that information with advertising and analytics partners, and what rights you have over your data. If you keep using Runway after the policy changes, Runway treats that as your acknowledgment of the new terms. Requesting deletion of information Runway needs to operate may result in losing access to the Service.

This Privacy Policy establishes how Runway collects, uses, retains, shares, and protects user information, including biometric data such as voice data and face scans submitted to use certain product features. Runway limits biometric data use to the specific service requested by the user and caps retention of face scans and voiceprints at the earlier of purpose fulfillment or three years after the user's last interaction. Runway may disclose user information to advertising and analytics partners for behavioral analysis, Service customization, and targeted advertising both on and off the platform, and cross-border transfers to countries with potentially less comprehensive privacy laws are treated as consented to upon use of the Service. Residents of certain states hold an explicit right to opt out of the sale of personal information and processing for targeted advertising. Runway reserves the right to modify this policy at any time, and continued use of the Service following any modification constitutes acknowledgment of the updated terms.

Runway collects highly sensitive biometric data, including face scans and voiceprints, when you use certain features, and retains that data for up to three years after your last interaction or until its collection purpose is met, whichever is earlier. Your information may be shared with advertising and analytics partners and used to deliver targeted content both within the Service and across other sites on the Internet. If you join an Enterprise or team account, that account's administrator can access and control your account. If you live in a state that grants opt-out rights, you can opt out of the sale of your personal information or its use for online targeted advertising by exercising that right with Runway.
