These Terms govern what you can and cannot do on Replit and what rights Replit holds over your content. If you publish a public App, anyone can copy, modify, and distribute your code under the MIT License, and Replit may use that content to train AI models even after you leave the platform. Replit can suspend or terminate your account at its sole discretion, charges no refunds for usage-based billing, and disclaims liability for virtually all damages.
Replit's Terms of Service establish the conditions under which users may access and use the Service, granting Replit a broad license to copy, display, distribute, reformat, modify, and sublicense user content to third-party providers. The document restricts standard use to personal, non-commercial purposes, explicitly prohibits cryptocurrency mining, scraping, and reverse-engineering for any purpose, and reserves to Replit sole discretion to suspend or terminate accounts. Content published in public Apps is automatically placed under the MIT License and may be used by Replit to train large language models or otherwise improve the Service, with that right surviving termination of the agreement. Liability is disclaimed to the maximum extent permitted by law across all damage categories, including direct damages, and the Service is provided without warranties of any kind.
As a Replit user, your content published in public Apps is automatically licensed to the world under the MIT License and may be used by Replit to train large language models. Replit retains the right to access private App content for troubleshooting, security, and service improvement. Your subscription renews automatically at then-current rates, and usage-based charges are non-refundable once incurred. Standard use is limited to personal, non-commercial purposes, and any scraping, cryptocurrency mining, or reverse-engineering is prohibited regardless of purpose. If you wish to avoid automatic AI training use of your content, keeping content out of public Apps is the distinction the Terms draw.
