What it is

When you access third-party games, apps, or services through PlayStation, both PlayStation's Terms and the third party's own terms apply to you simultaneously.

Consumer impact (what this means for users)

Accessing third-party content through PlayStation exposes you to additional terms and data practices beyond PlayStation's own ToS, and PlayStation is not responsible for third-party services' conduct, data practices, or service quality.

Why it matters (compliance & risk perspective)

Using third-party services through PlayStation means you are subject to multiple overlapping sets of terms and privacy policies, including those of the third party, which PlayStation does not control or take responsibility for.
