OpenAI expanded the language selection interface for its Data Processing Addendum in an update detected on August 20, 2026. The change added a multilingual language selector displaying 60+ language options at the top of the document, while the substantive DPA text remained unchanged. This makes the DPA accessible in more languages but does not alter the legal terms, obligations, or effective date of the agreement.

OpenAI removed the full language selector list from the header of their Data Processing Addendum on June 6, 2026, replacing it with a collapsed menu indicator ('...'). The document substance, effective date (January 1, 2026), and legal definitions remain unchanged. This is a formatting change to how the document is presented, not a modification of the data processing terms, rights, or obligations themselves.
