How other platforms handle this
Unless you cancel for one of the reasons in the next bullet, you'll be entitled to a full refund (no matter how close your journey is). Any Private Transportation: If the change is just a new driver, a new Service Provider, or a new (similar) vehicle, you won't be entitled to a refund
