What it is

When a user purchases a third-party subscription through the App Store or Apple News, Apple generates a unique Subscriber ID tied to the user and the specific developer or publisher, and shares subscription purchase information and country of residence with that developer or publisher. The Subscriber ID resets 180 days after all subscriptions with that developer or publisher are cancelled, provided the user does not resubscribe.

If you cancel all of your subscriptions from a particular developer or publisher, the Subscriber ID will reset after 180 days if you do not resubscribe. This information is provided to developers or publishers so that they can understand the performance of their subscriptions.
