AI21 Labs collects everything you submit to its AI models—prompts, documents, and other content—and keeps it until it deletes the data itself or you ask it to. You have the right to request deletion of your data from AI21 Labs and its service providers, and you cannot be penalized for exercising your privacy rights. AI21 Labs is not responsible for how third-party services handle your data once you leave its platform.

This Privacy Policy establishes AI21 Labs' data collection, usage, sharing, and retention practices for its Services, along with the rights it grants to users. AI21 Labs collects broad categories of user-submitted content—including prompts, text, and documents—and processes Personal Data through AI systems as part of service delivery. The policy restricts use of Google Workspace API data to individual personalized experiences and prohibits the sale or sharing of Personal Data for cross-contextual behavioral advertising, while separately disclosing integration with Facebook pixels and SDKs for ad targeting. Personal Information is retained indefinitely until AI21 Labs proactively deletes it or a valid user deletion request is submitted, and customers bear responsibility for the security, integrity, and authorized use of Customer Information within the Services.

You can submit a deletion request to have your Personal Information removed from AI21 Labs' records and those of its service providers.
