Unity's terms grant the company a broad license to use content you submit through its services, limit Unity's financial liability to amounts you paid in the prior 12 months, and require US-based users to resolve disputes individually through arbitration rather than in court. For developers who build commercially successful games on Unity's platform, the revenue thresholds that trigger paid licensing tiers and the limitation on Unity's liability for service disruptions are particularly material. You can opt out of the mandatory arbitration clause by sending written notice to Unity within 30 days of first accepting these terms.
