(1) REGULATORY LANDSCAPE: Use of Google Analytics for EU users has been the subject of national DPA decisions in Austria, France, Italy, and other EU member states finding that Google Analytics data transfers to the US may not comply with GDPR Chapter V absent adequate transfer safeguards following the Schrems II decision. CCPA requires disclosure of the categories of third parties receiving personal information through analytics tools. The policy discloses Google Analytics by name, which is a positive transparency step. (2) GOVERNANCE EXPOSURE: Medium. Several EU national DPAs have issued specific guidance or enforcement actions regarding Google Analytics use by EU-based or EU-serving companies. Whether Uniswap Labs has implemented the recommended safeguards (such as IP anonymization or use of Google's Consent Mode) is not addressed in the policy. (3) JURISDICTION FLAGS: EU and EEA users face the greatest exposure from Google Analytics use given DPA enforcement posture in multiple member states. California users have rights to opt out of sharing of personal information with analytics providers that may qualify as data sharing under CPRA. (4) VENDOR IMPLICATIONS: Google Analytics constitutes a third-party data processor or potentially a joint controller depending on configuration.
