This page describes what the document states, permits, or reserves. It does not constitute a legal determination about enforceability. Regulatory applicability may vary by jurisdiction. Methodology
This document sets the rules for returning items to Shein and getting a refund. Many categories of items — including underwear, jewelry, accessories, cosmetics, and anything marked final sale — cannot be returned at all, and customized items can neither be returned nor cancelled. For returns that are allowed, your first return ships free, but every additional return from the same order costs $7.99 deducted from your refund, and Shein can reduce or deny your refund if the item does not meet its condition requirements.
This document establishes Shein's return, refund, and fee conditions governing post-purchase transactions. It sets categorical exclusions from return eligibility — including bodysuits, lingerie, underwear, jewelry, accessories, cosmetics, pet products, clearance items, final sale items, and customized items — and imposes condition requirements (new, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, unaltered, original tags and hygiene sticker intact) for clothing returns. Electronics returns are subject to a 30-day postmark deadline and activation-state requirements, with Shein's own testing and inspection serving as the mechanism for rejection on misuse or incompleteness grounds. Refunds are subject to reduction for lost item value attributable to the customer, complete denial for non-resalable items, and a $7.99 deduction per return on any second or subsequent return from the same order. A 90-day window from the order date governs reporting of faulty or damaged items, and free return shipping is limited to the first return per order within the Voluntary Return Window.
For an individual shopper, the practical effects are significant: a wide range of product categories are entirely non-returnable, customized orders carry no cancellation or return right, and clothing must be unworn, unwashed, and unaltered with original tags and hygiene sticker intact to qualify for return. Electronics must be returned unused, inactivated, and in original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Refunds can be reduced for items returned in diminished condition, denied entirely for non-resalable items, and reduced by $7.99 per return on any second or subsequent return from the same order. If you receive a faulty or damaged item, you must contact Shein's Customer Service within 90 days of your order date to preserve your ability to seek a remedy.
