Corrections log

ConductAtlas maintains a public record of corrections, revised interpretations, and updated classifications. Serious governance infrastructure evolves transparently.

This log documents substantive corrections to ConductAtlas analysis and classifications, and every change record we have withdrawn after publishing it, with the reason. A withdrawn record's page stays readable and links back here. Routine updates such as new document versions, updated summaries from source changes, and expanded regulation coverage are not listed here. Methodology

SummaryMeasured 9 October 2026
October 2026: 919 change records withdrawn as artifacts of a superseded text extractor
On 8 and 9 October 2026 we withdrew 919 change records that had been first published between 18 April and 7 October 2026. They had been public for a median of 108 days (between 1 and 174).
Each recorded a difference between two captures of a page that lay in page furniture, not in the document: navigation menus, footers, page titles, language pickers, related-article lists, embedded page data, live counters and clocks. Our text extractor stopped reading these in two steps: navigation and footer stripping, deployed 10 September 2026 (890 of the 919 were first published before it), and extractor version 5, deployed 7 October 2026. Version 5 also drops page titles, video fallback text, menus built as select lists, link labels, loading placeholders and related-post lists, and folds invisible characters and typographic quotes. Re-extracted with version 5, the two captures behind each record contain the same text.
Each record has its own entry in this log, quoting what it described. Its page stays readable as a withdrawn record.

Meta: change record CA-X-004002 recorded a difference our own extractor made
This record described a change to Meta Frontier AI Framework observed on Jul 28, 2026. What differed between the two captures it compared: “…hare this article Recent News Meta AI Doesn’t Just Think, It Acts Introducing Facebook Verified Introducing Seller, an A…” became “…hare this article Recent News Announcing the AI Glasses Impact Grant Recipients: Helping People Work, Learn, and Live Mo…”. That passage is page furniture, not part of the document, and the archive's current text extractor (version 5, deployed Oct 7, 2026) no longer reads it: re-extracted, the two captures contain the same text, so this record would not have been created. It is withdrawn as an artifact of how we read the page, not as a finding about Meta's document. Measured Oct 9, 2026.
As published (withdrawn)
Meta's Frontier AI Framework was updated to replace a reference in the related news section. The previous reference to 'Connecting Real People on Facebook' was removed, and replaced with 'Announcing the AI Glasses Impact Grant Recipients: Helping People Work, Learn, and Live More Independently'. This is a formatting and content update to the document's navigation and related articles, not a change to the framework's substantive AI governance provisions.

As published (withdrawn)
A change was detected in OpenSea's Privacy Policy on July 26, 2026, though the specific modified content cannot be determined from the available diff information. Without visibility into the actual text of the sentence that was modified, the operational impact cannot be accurately characterized.

Meta: change record CA-X-003889 recorded a difference our own extractor made
This record described a change to Meta Frontier AI Framework observed on Jul 22, 2026. What differed between the two captures it compared: “…hare this article Recent News The 2026 Summer of Football: A Record-Breaking Moment Across Meta Alerting Parents if Teen…” became “…hare this article Recent News New Parental Supervision Tools Coming To Threads The 2026 Summer of Football: A Record-Bre…”.
Meta's Meta Frontier AI Framework was updated on July 22, 2026. The change modified the 'Recent News' section of the document, replacing a reference to 'Breaking Ground on Meta's First Data Center in Canada' with 'New Parental Supervision Tools Coming To Threads'. This is a editorial update to the document's featured news links rather than a substantive change to the Framework's AI governance content or policies.

This record described a change to OpenRouter Privacy Policy observed on Jul 21, 2026. What differed between the two captures it compared: “…vacy Terms of Service Support State of AI Works With OR Data Developer D…” became “…vacy Terms of Service Support Works With OR Data Developer D…”. That passage is page furniture, not part of the document, and the archive's current text extractor (version 5, deployed Oct 7, 2026) no longer reads it: re-extracted, the two captures contain the same text, so this record would not have been created. It is withdrawn as an artifact of how we read the page, not as a finding about OpenRouter's document. Measured Oct 9, 2026.
As published (withdrawn)
OpenRouter's privacy policy was updated on July 21, 2026 to remove 'State of AI' from the list of footer links and navigation elements. The document previously included 'State of AI' in its footer section; the updated version removes this link entirely. This is a formatting or navigation change with no impact on disclosed data practices, user rights, or privacy commitments.

OpenRouter: change record CA-X-003886 recorded a difference our own extractor made
This record described a change to OpenRouter Terms of Service observed on Jul 21, 2026.

OpenRouter removed the phrase 'State of AI' from their contact and navigation information in the Terms of Service document, detected on July 21, 2026. This appears to be a minor editorial or organizational change affecting the footer navigation. The operational substance of the Terms of Service itself remains unchanged.
