ConductAtlas Analysis

Why it matters (compliance & governance perspective)

The clause conditions ongoing access to recorded content on active subscription status, creating a time-limited access model rather than permanent retention. This establishes that subscription-dependent storage and retrieval of captured media is contingent upon continuous paid subscription enrollment.

Consumer impact (what this means for users)

Users retain access to Subscription Plan Recordings only during active subscription periods. Upon trial expiration without conversion to a paid plan, or upon paid subscription expiration or cancellation, recorded content transitions to an inaccessible state, with no refund issued for pre-paid subscription fees.

How other platforms handle this

Zoom Medium

Unless you notify Zoom before the end of the applicable subscription period that you want to cancel a subscription, your subscription will automatically renew and you authorize us to collect the then-applicable annual or monthly subscription fee and any taxes, using any credit card or other payment ...

T-Mobile Medium

Other agreements, including any service agreements, equipment installment plans, or financing agreements

Coinbase Medium

Coinbase One members enjoy $0 trading fees on up to $10,000 in trades per day. Coinbase One is a monthly subscription service. The spread still applies to Coinbase One transactions.
