Companies change their terms quietly. We read every version and catch what actually changed. One email a week on the changes that matter and what they mean.
This page describes what the document states, permits, or reserves. It does not constitute a legal determination about enforceability. Regulatory applicability may vary by jurisdiction. Methodology
This document governs how Reverb collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you use its platform. Reverb keeps your data as long as your account is open and can share it with business partners in other countries, with law enforcement based on its own judgment, or with a new owner if the company is sold. You can request a copy of your personal information, but you cannot opt out of legal or security-related communications from Reverb.
This Privacy Policy establishes Reverb's data collection, retention, sharing, and user-rights framework for individuals who access or use its Services. Accessing or using the Services constitutes express agreement to the Policy. Reverb collects broad seller data including government-level identity information, retains it for as long as an account is active or as needed to provide Services, and may share it with affiliates and third-party partners outside a user's home country, with law enforcement based on Reverb's good-faith judgment, and as a business asset in mergers, sales, liquidations, or similar transactions. Users hold an affirmative right to request a copy of their personal information in an accessible format with an explanation of its use, but have no ability to opt out of legal, security, or transactional communications, and Reverb retains unilateral authority to amend the Policy, with notification of material changes conditioned on Reverb's own assessment of materiality.
As a Reverb user, your personal information — including broad seller details such as valid identification and taxpayer address — is retained indefinitely while your account remains active and may be transferred to a different company entirely if Reverb is sold or reorganized, without your individual consent. Reverb may also share your information with law enforcement based on its own good-faith belief, and it can update this Policy at its sole discretion. You can take one concrete action: contact Reverb to request a copy of your personal information in an accessible format along with an explanation of how it is used.
