Companies change their terms quietly. We read every version and catch what actually changed. One email a week on the changes that matter and what they mean.
This page describes what the document states, permits, or reserves. It does not constitute a legal determination about enforceability. Regulatory applicability may vary by jurisdiction. Methodology
Pika's Acceptable Use Policy sets out what you can and cannot do when using its Service. Breaking any rule — even a minor one — automatically counts as a serious breach of the overall Terms, and Pika alone decides whether a rule has been broken. If you violate the policy, Pika may warn you, suspend or terminate your account, or take other actions, and you are responsible for indemnifying Pika against claims that arise from any investigation into your conduct.
Pika's Acceptable Use Policy establishes the conduct obligations and restrictions governing user interactions with the Service, and defines the enforcement framework applicable to violations. Any AUP violation constitutes a material breach of the Terms of Service, and Pika reserves sole discretion to determine whether a violation has occurred. Substantive prohibitions include circumventing platform safeguards, exploiting or harming children in any way (including conduct not prohibited by law), submitting likenesses of real individuals without express consent, and using Outputs to compete with Pika. Users bear sole responsibility for all Inputs and must indemnify Pika and its affiliates against claims arising from investigative actions; Pika expressly disclaims all liability for any content accessed, submitted, or generated through the Service. Pika may modify the AUP at its sole discretion, with changes effective upon posting.
As a user, you are solely responsible for everything you submit to Pika's Service and must obtain express consent before uploading any likeness of a real person. If you produce a deepfake Output, you are required to disclose that it was artificially generated or manipulated. Pika disclaims all liability for any content accessed, submitted, or generated through the Service, and Pika alone determines whether your conduct violates the policy, with no defined process for you to contest that determination. Pika may update the policy at its sole discretion, with changes binding upon posting, so checking the posted policy for updates is the concrete step available to you.
