The updated terms now require all disputes with Paramount+ to be resolved through binding arbitration rather than court proceedings, and prohibit participation in class action lawsuits. This means individual users cannot join group litigation against the company and must pursue disputes through a private arbitration process, which may be more costly and less transparent than court proceedings. Regardless of who terminates these Terms, both you and Snap continue to be bound by Sections 2, 3 (to the extent any additional terms and conditions would, by their terms, survive), and 6 - 25 of the Terms.
Upon termination of these Terms of Service, any provision which, by its nature or express terms should survive, will survive such termination or expiration, including, but not limited to, Sections 7-10, and 14-20.
To the extent permitted by law, where the goods or services (as applicable) are supplied in trade within the meaning of the Fair Trading Act 1986, the parties agree to contract out of sections 9, 12A, 13, and 14(1) of that Act.
