Version history

OpenSea removed its entire section on Unique Item Offers, which previously allowed users to make open offers to purchase any NFT in a collection matching selected attributes. The removed language included disclaimers that attribute matching is approximate, that OpenSea does not verify item attributes or condition, and that users are responsible for reviewing matching items before placing an offer. The updated terms no longer contain any reference to this feature or its associated risk disclosures.

OpenSea added a new feature called 'Unique Item Offers' that allows users to place open offers to purchase any NFT in a collection matching selected attributes, without requiring the item to be listed for sale. The updated terms clarify that attribute matching is approximate and based on creator-provided data that OpenSea does not independently verify, placing responsibility on users to review matching items before placing an offer. Users accept full responsibility for their offers and resulting transactions under these new terms.
