This document explains what personal information Modal collects when you use its Service, how Modal may use and share that information, and the limits of Modal's security commitments. By using the Service you agree to the data practices described. Changes to the policy take effect the moment they are posted, so there is no waiting period before new terms apply to you.
Modal's Privacy Policy establishes the terms under which Modal collects, uses, and shares personal information from users of its Service. Modal may require personally identifiable information including, but not limited to, name, phone number, and postal address, and collects Log Data—potentially including IP address and browser version—on every visit. Personal information is shared with third-party service providers solely for assigned tasks, with those providers obligated not to use or disclose it for any other purpose. Modal commits to commercially acceptable security measures while explicitly disclaiming any guarantee of absolute security. Policy changes take effect immediately upon posting, with notification fulfilled solely by posting the updated policy on the same page.
When you use Modal's Service, you agree to Modal collecting information you provide—such as your name, phone number, or postal address—as well as Log Data including potentially your IP address and browser version collected on every visit. Modal shares your information with third-party service providers for task performance only and states it will not use or share your information beyond what the Privacy Policy describes. Modal cannot guarantee the security of your information, and any policy changes bind you immediately upon posting without direct personal notice. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to Modal, be aware that Modal's stated commitment is to delete such information from its servers immediately upon discovery.
