Using personal data for AI model training is a non-obvious secondary purpose that goes beyond service delivery — it can affect how AI systems behave and who benefits from your data contributions.
Databricks collects a broad range of personal data including contact details, professional information, device and usage data, and inferred characteristics, and shares this data with advertising and analytics partners for cross-context behavioral advertising, which means your browsing and engagement behavior on Databricks properties may be used to target you with ads. Job applicants are subject to a separate but referenced privacy notice, and individuals whose data is processed through Databricks' enterprise platform products are not covered by this notice at all, which limits its scope for enterprise customers. You can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal data for advertising purposes by clicking the 'Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information' link on the Databricks website, or by submitting a request through the OneTrust privacy portal linked in the notice.
