This provision establishes a bifurcated governance structure in which privacy obligations and data handling practices differ based on deployment context. Enterprise deployments operate under distinct contractual terms negotiated between Anysphere and the customer organization, rather than under the standard Privacy Policy.
Users whose Cursor accounts are provisioned by their employer are subject to the terms of their employer's customer agreement with Anysphere rather than the publicly stated Privacy Policy. The specific data handling practices, retention policies, and processor obligations applicable to their account are determined by that separate commercial agreement.

"Please note that this Privacy Policy does not apply where Anysphere acts as a data processor and processes personal data on behalf of commercial customers using our commercial services, for example, if your employer has provisioned a Cursor account for you to use at work. Our use of that data is governed by our customer agreements covering access to and use of those offerings.— Excerpt from Cursor's Cursor Privacy Policy
