Brazilian LGPD and South Korean PIPA have similar deletion right provisions that should be assessed for consistency with the 30-day lag. (4) CONTRACT AND VENDOR IMPLICATIONS: Commercial operators whose end-user agreements promise immediate deletion upon request should assess whether a 30-day back-end lag creates a gap in their representations. Data processing agreements with Anthropic should confirm deletion timelines and confirm what processing, if any, occurs during the 30-day window. (5) COMPLIANCE CONSIDERATIONS: Data retention schedules should document the 30-day back-end deletion window and clarify what processing is permitted or restricted during that period.
