The updated privacy statement now explicitly states that Wyze Watch and Wyze Band collect information about your contacts, incoming SMS messages, and incoming phone calls to support incoming call alerts and text message previews on those devices. This represents a disclosure of data collection practices tied to specific device features. The collection occurs to enable the notification functionality these devices advertise, though the statement does not specify retention periods, deletion policies, or whether this data is shared with third parties.
