Version history

Uniswap updated its Terms of Service to add explicit restrictions on circumventing access controls for tokens, particularly those with geographic or transfer restrictions imposed by token issuers. The updated terms also add disclosure requirements stating that certain assets on the platform (tokenized stocks, ETFs, physical commodities) are subject to issuer-imposed terms and restrictions, and require users to represent that they have reviewed issuer information and comply with all trading and holding restrictions applicable in their jurisdiction.

Uniswap revised its Terms of Service to expand disclaimers about digital asset availability and user responsibility for jurisdictional compliance. The updated terms now explicitly state that Uniswap does not represent or warrant that any digital asset is available for trading or holding in a user's jurisdiction, and that users are solely responsible for determining lawfulness and complying with transfer or holding restrictions. The change also adds language clarifying that availability of an asset through the platform does not mean Uniswap has determined the user is eligible to transact in it. Additionally, the terms were updated with minor punctuation and formatting changes (e.g., 'third party' to 'third-party'), and the last modified date was updated to May 27, 2026.
