Teachable reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate services or remove any user at any time for any reason without notice, and the right to modify the Terms themselves at its sole discretion. Continued platform use constitutes acceptance of modified terms regardless of whether direct notice was received.

This provision establishes that Teachable's service continuity, user access, and the Terms themselves are all subject to unilateral modification or termination without a minimum notice period. For Creator businesses operating schools through Teachable, service termination without notice creates operational exposure that is not bounded by the agreement.
Under these clauses, Teachable may terminate a Creator's school or a Student's account at any time without prior notice and may modify the Terms at any time, with continued platform use constituting acceptance. The agreement states users are responsible for periodically reviewing the Terms regardless of whether Teachable provides direct notice of changes.

"Teachable may modify, terminate, or refuse to provide Teachable Services at any time for any reason, without notice. Teachable may remove anyone from the Teachable Platform at any time for any reason, solely in Teachable's discretion. This right is not modified by any other section of these Terms. Teachable may, in its sole discretion, modify, suspend, or terminate any provision of these Terms at any time. Teachable will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify You of material changes through one or more of the following means: in-app notifications, notices posted on the Platform, email, or other reasonable methods. Regardless of whether Teachable provides notice, You are responsible for periodically reviewing these Terms. Continued use of the Platform following any modification constitutes acceptance.Excerpt from Teachable's Terms of Use
(1) REGULATORY LANDSCAPE: Unilateral modification clauses with continued-use acceptance mechanisms may engage EU consumer protection law and the P2B Regulation for business users, which require adequate advance notice of material changes. The FTC Act unfair or deceptive practices standard may be relevant if material term changes are not communicated adequately. UK consumer contract regulations may impose similar constraints for UK-based users. (2) GOVERNANCE EXPOSURE: Medium. The breadth of the no-notice termination right combined with the continued-use acceptance mechanism for term modifications creates uncertainty for Creator businesses that have invested in building course infrastructure on the platform. (3) JURISDICTION FLAGS: EU and EEA business users may have rights under the P2B Regulation requiring at least 15 days advance notice of changes to terms governing platform access. California businesses may have protections under California consumer protection statutes. The document's qualification that Teachable will use 'commercially reasonable efforts' to notify of material changes acknowledges but does not resolve this tension. (4) CONTRACT AND VENDOR IMPLICATIONS: Organizations relying on Teachable for revenue-generating educational content delivery should assess the no-notice termination right as a vendor risk factor and consider whether contractual protections or service level commitments are available through enterprise agreements. (5) COMPLIANCE CONSIDERATIONS: Legal teams should assess whether the continued-use acceptance mechanism satisfies consent requirements under applicable law for material term modifications, particularly for EU and UK users subject to consumer contract regulations.
