This page describes what the document states, permits, or reserves. It does not constitute a legal determination about enforceability. Regulatory applicability may vary by jurisdiction. Methodology
This document governs how Replit handles your personal information when you use its platform. Your profile—including your name, username, and code—is always visible to other users and indexed by search engines with no opt-out indicated. By simply using Replit's Services, you agree to all of its data collection and use practices, including use of your information to improve Replit's machine learning technologies.
Replit's Privacy Policy establishes the terms under which Replit collects, uses, discloses, and retains user information as a condition of using its Services. Key obligations on Replit include deleting user data within 30 days of an account deletion request and taking reasonable steps to obtain parental consent or delete personal information upon discovering an underage user. Replit asserts a legitimate interest in using user information to improve its machine learning technologies, including code generation, and reserves unrestricted discretion to use and share de-identified information outside the Policy's scope. User profile information—including name, username, profile picture, and code—is permanently public and indexed by search engines, and continued use of the Services from regions with data-processing laws constitutes acceptance of international data transfer to the United States and other hosting locations. Replit explicitly disclaims any guarantees as to the security or privacy of information hosted on its electronically hosted Services.
Using Replit's Services means your profile information is permanently public and searchable by anyone, including search engines. Replit may use your personal data for marketing purposes and to train its machine learning models, and once your data is de-identified, the Privacy Policy no longer applies and Replit may use or share it for any purpose in its sole discretion. If you want your data removed, you can request account deletion, and Replit will delete your data within 30 days of that request.
