This is the legal agreement you accept when you use Pinterest. It gives Pinterest the right to use and display the images and content you post, and limits Pinterest's legal responsibility if something goes wrong. For US users, there is an important clause that requires you to resolve disputes with Pinterest through arbitration rather than in court, and you waive your right to join a class action lawsuit — but you can opt out within 30 days of first accepting the terms.

Pinterest's Terms of Service govern the contractual relationship between Pinterest (operated by Pinterest Europe Ltd for EEA/Switzerland users and Pinterest, Inc. for all others) and its users. The document grants Pinterest a broad, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute user-uploaded content, while users retain ownership of their content. Key provisions include a mandatory arbitration clause with class action waiver for US users (with a 30-day opt-out window), a unilateral right to modify terms with notice, limitations on liability capped at amounts paid to Pinterest in the prior 12 months, and Pinterest's right to suspend or terminate accounts at its discretion.
