Leonardo AI Terms of Service

This is the Terms of Service for Leonardo.Ai, the generative AI platform that lets you create images and videos using artificial intelligence. The most important thing to know is that Leonardo.Ai can use the images and prompts you create on the platform to train its AI models — unless you specifically opt out of this in your account settings. If you want to stop your content being used for AI training, check your account privacy settings and adjust them before generating any content.

This document governs the contractual relationship between Leonardo Interactive Pty Ltd T/A Leonardo.Ai (ACN 662 209 485), an Australian entity, and users of its cloud-based generative AI image and video creation platform, with the agreement operative from account sign-up until termination. The most significant user obligations include compliance with usage policies prohibiting harmful/illegal content generation, restrictions on reverse engineering the platform, and acceptance that Leonardo.Ai may use user-submitted inputs and outputs to train its AI models unless users opt out. Notable deviations from industry standard include a broad licence grant to Leonardo.Ai over user content including AI-generated outputs for platform improvement purposes, explicit disclaimers that AI outputs may not be accurate or free from third-party IP infringement, and a limitation of liability that caps Leonardo.Ai's exposure to fees paid in the prior 12 months.
